Welcome to the Home of Clapton Orient F.C.

We are a community-based football club established by a loyal group of Parents & Coaches.
As well as children's teams, we also run walking football games for 55+ players in Hackney.

In 1898 Clapton Orient was the original name for Leyton Orient before they changed it in 1946. During the second world war, 41 members of the Clapton Orient squad signed up and fought at the Battle of the Somme, 3 of whom lost their lives. They were famously called the Footballers Battalion and their nickname was 'The die hards'
